We were again humbled by the fantastic response and feedback from our course candidates and online users who did amazingly well at the ST3 trauma and orthopaedic interviews in 2017. Last year 9/10 of the highest scoring candidates attended a course or used our website and we also trialled our 'become an interviewer' feature of the knowledge and mock courses that was so popular we'll be running it again this year on a larger scale so stay tuned!
By popular demand we'll also be running two knowledge courses this year as we found that pairing these with the mock course and running them the day before significantly improved candidate performance and confidence.

Knowledge Course
We know that figuring out how to structure your revision and knowing exactly what to revise and to what level is really tough. We therefore decided to do the hardwork for you with our knowledge course. Our ST3 Orthopaedic Interview Knowledge Course features a comprehensive overview of the interview process, insider tips from last year's successful candidates, evidence-based revision of core clinical and anatomy topics together with guides to each individual station and hands-on technical skills tutorials.
With a high tutor to candidate ratio you'll get your knowledge-base super-charged by registrars at a variety of levels so that you get key info about the interviews from recently appointed ST3s and high-yield knowledge from ST6+ registrars preparing and post-FRCS.
The course is interactive with focused near-to-peer teaching and interactive small group discussion. A brasserie lunch and refreshments together with free high-speed Wi-Fi and pens, pads and sweets will keep you going throughout the day. You get your own section of the site with course materials and the lectures and priority booking on the mock interview courses.
Mock Interview Course
Here at ST3 Ortho Interview we understand that the best way to succeed at ST3 interview is with early, realistic practise.
Our ST3 Orthopaedic Interview Course is designed to simulate the interview experience and offer feedback and insider tips to help you gain not just a national training number but also your 1st choice job. We coach the highest ranking candidates each year and they return to teach on our course.
Our ST3 Orthopaedic Mock Interview Course is a focused, one-day course that simulates the real interviews with realistic interview stations and immediate feedback.
Participants rotate in groups of 3 so that you learn both from tutors and your peers. Actors are used to make the Interactive stations as real as possible and technical skills kit is present to test your practical skills under pressure.
Course Dates
We'll be running interview weekends of you on 2nd-3rd December 2017 and February 2018. Booking for the December dates is now open and is a great way to kickstart your preparation before the Christmas break and ensure you understand what you need to improve over the following three months and that you understand the application system.
